Meet the Staff
Jen Bixby
Chiropractic Assistant
Jen Bixby was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but has lived in different parts of Arizona - including Bisbee, Cave Creek, Flagstaff, Phoenix and Scottsdale - since she was three years old. Jen moved to Seattle, Washington in 1999 and returned to Cave Creek in 2005, where she now lives with her husband, daughters and dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, painting and reading.
Jen has been a patient since 2006, and joined the Paradise Chiropractic team as Office Manager in December 2007. She is the person you'll most likely speak to when calling to schedule an appointment or with billing or insurance questions.
Dena Mercer
Licensed Massage Therapist
Dena was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, but she has lived in Phoenix for most of her life. After graduating from Paradise Valley High School here in Phoenix, Dena was fortunate enough to spend free time traveling around the world. A couple of years later, she decided to pursue a career in the health industry and attended Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College. After graduating in May 2004, Dena spent some time developing hands-on experience at other chiropractic offices in Phoenix as well as at Massage Envy before arriving here at Paradise Chiropractic.
Dena's massage techniques focus primarily on Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Trigger Point and Sweedish Massage. She does Geriatric and Pregnancy massage as well. Dena enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, snowboarding, running, working out at the gym and being a new mom.
